In my opinion no day would be so fascinating than the day when you encounter a creature from a different planet.

I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of people from a different world.

Personally, I’ve never imagined the people to be a creature type, yet I can definitely use my imagination like Mr. Steven Spielberg, Mr. M. Night Shyamalan and now like Mr. J.J. Abrams. And, I find nothing erroneous about it.

Super 8

That day that I wanted to be enthralled and still want to be surprised to find a mysterious looking alien in my backyard or in my town somewhere. And, now, incredibly that day has been shot and framed in J.J Abrams’ new film Super 8.

It’s magical because it’s different, original and unique. Abrams is bringing an environment which takes us back to when Steven Spielberg’s all time classics.

The story of Super 8 is something that you are familiar with, but still not familiar. The characters and style that it’s made in harnesses the power and magic of Spielberg’s cinema which brings E.T. (1982) and Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) to mind; a story of mankind’s first meeting with beings from another planet.

Super 8

Abrams has envisioned an event which is serene, sanguine and prodigious. In the film’s awe-inspiring, joyous story he’s kept the message of friendship alive and that friendship is universal.

It’s a story about a group of kids in the summer of 1979 in a small Ohio town. They witness a catastrophic train crash while making a Super 8 movie and soon they start noticing strange happenings going around in their town. People vanish. And, something is hiding behind the trees.

Among the kids are concerned and feisty Charles (Riley Griffiths), the captain of the ship who stands behind the Super 8 camera and has gathered his friends, including emotional 14 year old Joe Lamb (Joel Courtney) for handling the special effects, the beautiful and focused actress, Alice (Elle Fanning) who is both Charles’ and Joe’s dream girl, Cary (Ryan Lee), Martin (Gabriel Basso) and Preston (Zach Mills).

Abrams and Spielberg will make you laugh and cry with Super 8. It left me astonished and I’m ready to go back and see it again.
