In anticipation of the amazing new movie Skyline, we’ve put together a brand new competition for you! Test how good you are with sci-fi movies while at the same time getting yourself in with a chance of winning one of five goodie bags which include a t-shirt, USB memory stick, film poster and Skyline-branded glow sticks!
From the Brothers Strause, the effects team behind Avatar, comes Skyline, in cinemas, Friday, 12th November. After a late night party, a group of friends wake to an eerie blue light that attracts people like moths to a flame, sucking them skywards! The friends soon learn that an extraterrestrial force is swallowing the entire human population and that they must fight for their lives as the world unravels around them!
As spacecrafts play a huge part in the movie, below you’ll find we have a collection of 12 images from 12 different films which all feature spacecrafts! If you can correctly name them all, you’ll be entered into the prize draw to win one of the five goodie bags. You’ll really impress as well if you can name the year of the films’ release, but it’s not really necessary.

the fact that I know all of those movies actually surprises me, to a small extent anyway.
should have made the quiz harder, most of those movies are really popular and accessible to even the general audience.

I recognized all but three of the films. I don’t live in the UK anyway, so no loss.

I got 11 out of the 12. Couldn’t figure number 7 out (I think that was the one). Looks like Mars or maybe a future and post-apocalypse Earth. Obvious space ship to the side and in the distance near the middle we can see a crashed one. Place all looks sandy. I dunno what the film is. Bet it turns out to be one I’ve seen though, lol
