Devil (2010) Clip & Featurette

Written by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs) and directed by Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle, the duo behind Quarantine (2008), Devil (aka The Night Chronicles: Devil ) is a supernatural thriller, first of The Night Chronicles trilogy, which involves the supernatural within the modern urban society.

Its story involves 5 people trapped in an elevator who start dying mysteriously one by one. Paranoia and tension ensue while the police outside try to discover who is behind the killings. Their investigations take them into the murky realms of the unexplainable and they soon discover that darker things are a foot.

Devil is produced by Shyamalan’s own production company, Blinding Edge Pictures. They also produced The Last Airbender (2010), The Happening (2008), Lady in the Water (2006), The Village (2004), Signs (2002) and Unbreakable (2000).

Devil is released in UK cinemas September 17th 2010 and is distributed by Universal Pictures.
