We prefer personal pieces; in a way it’s more important to us what subjects and issues you are interested in than what movies you love. Here at Static Mass it’s about the essence of film so we don’t care about industry chatter, celebrity news or speculations on not-yet-released movies.
We favour thoughtful and well written reviews and essays that show the personality and unique perspective of the writer. However, your piece shouldn’t be an academic treatise or over-opinionated; we value easy-to-read articles that are accessible for our readers who come from all walks of life.
