Tron: Legacy (2010)

By Patrick Samuel

Proving it’s never too late for a sequel, Tron: Legacy, directed by Joseph Kosinski, arrives 28 years after its predecessor. Jeff Bridges returns to the role of Kevin Flynn; trapped in a world he once created, his only hope of escaping lies with his son Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund).

Haunted by his father’s disappearance, Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) is pulled into a digital world as he investigates a signal sent to him by Kevin. Once in the cyber universe and together with a fearless warrior, Quorra (Olivia Wilde), they try to make it back to their own world. However, the technology around them continues to advance and with a villain intent on stopping them from escaping, will they make it out?

Backed by a score produced by French electronic funk duo Daft Punk (Da Funk, Around The World, One More Time), Tron: Legacy looks like a high octane sci-fi treat for the eyes and ears! We’ll be bringing you more Tron: Legacy features over the coming weeks and months leading up to the film’s release.

Tron: Legacy 3D will be released on December 17th 2010 in time for the Christmas period and promises to be a visually stunning movie, unlike any we have seen before. The film will be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.
