Jesse’s Lost Journal — by Mark Patton

Entry 14, 1982

My friend slipped in thought the window last night again and I was really glad to see him. I am not sure why we see each other this way but it does allow for late night visits. We almost got caught and he left his Gym stuff here…

We talked about the house and now I am sure I am not crazy, this is really happening. I did not tell him everything, now is not the time.

Today I was supposed to go to my GIRLFRIEND’S house to go swimming but the Dick made me stay home and clean my room… really it is a relief, I did not think I could take the mess much longer. Clean, Clean…

I was playing some music and doing my stupid dance when Mom and the girl burst in to the room, I was standing on the bed do the jack off move (I have practiced that sooo many times), I was embarrassed but at least I was not doing my nude swanlake…or Kate Bush, Rolling the Ball.

Mom left, with a smirk and a smile,.. poor mom. Then we start talking, I really like her… she is smart, maybe she can help me with this… I got the idea to let her find the diary in the closet.

Girls are so strange, she found his Jock and stuff and thought it was mine… so I ask her to clean the closet… of course she found it and I pretended never to have seen it. I cannot write about it now… it is too much to handle…I se my future and it is not good. I think he wants something different from me…

The lack of sleep is taking its toll but I am pacing myself by resting with my eyes closed and playing music… which is what I will do now.
