Jesse’s Lost Journal — by Mark Patton

Entry 23, 1982

I have come to respect Lisa and I really like her too. She suggested we go out to that old power plant to see if we could find anything and to see if we felt the spirit of Fred.

Funny, it turns out she does want to be a shrink, she will be good.

Nothing, just some rats and oily floors.

I have not told Lisa that I saw into Fred’s brain and know his mind. People call him a child killer but that’s because the paper did not report what really happened, they felt like it was too much for people to read. He is trying his child molester games with me, except I am not a child and I have no intention of being his victim.

I feel so sorry for Tina, she must have hurt the worst. I cannot let Lisa know any of this because if I do she will get scared and the plan will fail, same with Ron… I have to appear to be in the dark and the less they know the better.

It’s amazing, after we saw the power plant we sat in the DD and the sun was setting and it was like a movie… so beautiful, so peaceful…

My dreams tell me a bigger slice of hell is about to be served.
